Hello, fellow poet!
I am a published, award-winning poet myself and I received my MFA in poetry on a full fellowship. I have also worked in editorial at nationally-renowned journals. Not only will I use my poetry expertise and personal experience with writing, teaching, workshopping and critiquing poetry help get your poems into wonderful shape, but I can also offer feedback on getting your work published, as I know exactly what editors are looking for.
In this gig, I offer:
- editing poetry
- offering workshop-style feedback, critique and suggestions
- suggesting some publication opportunities for your work
I can do this for:
- a small number of poems
- a manuscript or chapbook of poetry -- I also have an "add on" to offer my consultation and suggestions on the manuscript as a whole, including structural suggestions, poems to cut, add or elaborate, ordering of the mss, and more
